Dear Folks,

Can someone please provide feedback about the use of Shewhart control charts in the monitoring of used oils analysis? we use this statistical tool in the quality control of the instruments with one sample as reference material over a period of 2 years with a frequency of one sample per week, with very good results.

Has been anyone applying this tool to evaluate the wear process in the used oils? or other statistical tool with success?
