Does anyone have or know where to find general instruction guides containing the procedures (the methods and the devices used) to sample oil from different types of machines (hydraulic systems, compressors, transmissions, engines, gear boxes, transmissions, paper machines, etc.)?

You might want to check out Noria's Oil Analysis Level I on-line course. This class will explain the reasoning sampling locations & extracting samples are so important for proper analysis. |
