I would like to solicit some experts advice on the principle of oil finger printing. Do Pristane/Phytane ratio is enough to determine oil slick source or is it really a conclusive test that could pinpoint a certain oil supplier that its his own oil polluting the water. I would like also to know if there are companies here doing such test or you may know some companies doing such test?
