Are there many oil labs with the ISO 17025 (competence of testing and calibration labs) rating?

Would you suggest our lab takes this route? Any arguments for or against?

One negative point I have picked up is that you cannot simply redo a particular result (e.g. ICP results) if say you noted the ICP/SPECM was reading Zn at slightly higher levels than normal. A new sample number has to be generated.

Any thoughts on the rating?
