Hi
Is there a method that can be used to determine the TAN or TBN of oil online. In other words, is there an instrument that can be inserted into the process and measure TAN or TBN. I'm looking for something that can give me a real-time TAN or TBN reading, and be able to do this while my equipement is operating. Thanks |

The FluidScan oil spectrometer from Foster-Miller can report TAN and TBN online. See below link for details.
