Hi, if anyone know about the Glycol test method ASTM D3306-08? What kind of equipment use for this test? What are the differences between the two ASTM glycol test methodes: D2982 and D3306?

D2982 is an old method of testing glycol in lube oils (Link)

D3306 is a specification for glycol used in cooling engine oils (Link)

You should look into ASTM D4291-04 Standard Test Method for Trace Ethylene Glycol in Used Engine Oil for testing. (Link)

HI Hong,
The ASTM D 3306 is to analysis the glycol type of the antifreeze used in the engine. Two type are used: ethylene glycol and propylene glycol.

We will buy the method from ASTM, or you've already did.
