Hi everybody,
has somebody used the new rotational viscometer SVM3000 by Anton Paar? The spec sheet figures are somehow stunning, but... is it all true? Can it work with heavily sooted Diesel used lubes? I'm asking because our lab is looking for a new high-speed viscometer... let me know.
Alessandro

We use a HSV model 802. It works great. We get about 40 Samples per hour on it. I haven't used the SVM3000, so I am not sure about it's sample output, but we have had great luck with the HSV. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Yes, the Anton Paar SVM3000 works exactely as advertised independent of product color, new or used oils or fuels, crude or heavy.
Have your local Anton Paar rep. come by and show it to you. http://www.anton-paar.com or 800-722-7556 ext. 113
Sincerely,
Skovbjerg
