Analysis 2 and 3 came back with the notation that the levels for Copper were abnormally high. I was using Mobil-1 5/30W for #1 and 2 (all oil changes since #1 except for #2 had been Mobil-1 5/30W). Oil for #2 was dealership's castoil 5/30w.

Should I be worried about any of these levels? Truck is still under warranty. SHould I bring the analysis to the dealership and make them aware of the numbers, or contact GM directly? My experience with dealing with dealers is that they don't want to fix something until it's broken or if they can hear the noise that you are complaining about.

Additional comments--

Mobil 1 5/30w tri-syn was the oil that was in when the first and third analysis were done (and all other oil changes except for the oil that was in the vehicle for analysis #2 and the reason for that is that the dealer had changed my oil without telling me-I automatically get free oil changes every 3,000 miles and had taken it in only for warranty work and the dealer automatically changed it. I wasn't too happy because the mobil one had only been in it for 2,000 miles.).

About additives. The only additive that I put in is "Tufoil". and that was first put in at 10,000 miles (I've been using this additive for over 15 years and have been very happy with the results).

I'm not that familiar with the oil you're using, and I'm not familiar at oil with your additive, but there are a couple of things I would look at. Firstly, have you got a sample of the new oil plus your additive? That would help to set some baselines. Secondly, I would investigate the possibility of an internal coolant leak - not only has your Cu increased, but so too has your Na and B - both of these are very common coolant additives. Your Mo has increased too. It is probably worthwhile having your engine pressure tested. And make sure proper pressure testing procedures are followed, i.e. when hot and when cold and over a suitable time. Internal coolant leaks are notoriously hard to find.

I am agree with the coolant leakages, but i would like remark the Mo level. There are two main origins: wear of rings (it's not probably because of iron level is low) and the second reason is a grease additive,but i don´t know where is the source of grease to lube oil.
I think you don't have to worry, but be carefully.
