Hi All,
I own a diesel vehicle and I am currently using Mobil Delvac MX for the same.
I wanted to know the easiest way to test condition of the engine oil.
Can someone please shade some light ?

Thanks,

I would avoid a test like this. It is extremely limited in it's scope of items tested.

The only safe way to judge oil condition is to have a used oil analysis performed. It test for viscosity (fluid thickening or thinning), contamination, acid neutralization reserve, additive package... There are numerous test performed by trained professionals in a controlled lab environment. Some of the best in the business can be found in the resources page right here on Noria's site. Here's a link to their page with a list of several labs that perform oil analysis. http://www.noria.com/buyersguide/vendor2.asp The actual process is very simple from your standpoint. You draw a sample into the provided bottle (only a couple of ounces) and mail it to the lab. They mail or email the results to you. Simple as that.

Here's a sample of what a oil analysis looks like and the data it provides.
