Is there any possibility of presence of both Free Acid and Free Alkali in Grease. What will happen if Free Acid and Free Alkali exceeds the specification limit in Grease

Welcome to the forum.Generally acidity is related to the oil content and alkalinity is related to the soap content,Correct me if I am wrong? Generally to have control over these properties a limit is prescribed for getting the best of the grease. Hope that helps. |
