Hi,

I am running two powerpacks in a carwash. I was using AW32 as the hydraulic oil for both powerpacks.
I got a recommendation that AW68 will do better in the case of car wash paowerpack than AW32.

Can you please recommend which one I can go for as the hydraulic oil

thanks

Any problems?
Ambient temperature range?
Car wash in constant use or not?
Jump from ISO 32 to 68 is large.(ISO 46 ?)
What about VI improved hydraulic oil?
Before doing anything speak to the power pack supplier.
Going to ISO 68 could result in sluggish opperation and start up and increased power consumption!

Seen the application, you might consider a biodegradable hydraulic oil. I agree with Roger that the jump from 32 to 68 seems is indeed too large. a 46cSt would be a safer change. The temperature range will be conclusive here.
