Hello,

We are having the compressor oil analysed at our lab at the power station.
Does anybody know what are the limits for this type of compressors for PH, viscosity drop, cleanliness etc.
The oil is mineral ESSO NUTO H32.

Thanks,

frixos

Hi Frixos:

I am away from home and I have not with me the ESSO lubes manual but, right now I have a similar one from Texaco. This oil ESSO NUTO H32 has a Texaco equivalent: RANDO HD 32 with the following characteristics:
API gravity = 32.6; Viscosity, kinematic @ 40ºC = 30.4 cSt, @ 100ºC = 5.2; Viscosity Index = 99; flash point ºC(ºF) = 220(428); pour point ºC(ºF) = -32(-27). This can help you as a reference, I hope so.
