I'm looking for a friendly high flash solvent to do particle contamination (patch) tests.
The product I was using 'Mobilsol A' is no longer available.

Lamp oil works well. The flashpoint is over 180 degrees F. We filter ours to around 13/10/8 or so. Our Particle counter software compensates for the diluent particle count. You could also use kerosene if you filtered it but that has a lower flash point.
