i am running a cat 3406 engine on a peterbilt and recently i got a high oil temperature reading and low oil pressure reading a few minutes later the engine stalled on opening it up 5 main bearing had turned with the crankshaft. what could have caused this as engine temp reading was normal please help.....

Has the oil pump been checked yet? Sounds like it failed and the bearings seized due to lack of lubrication.

mechanics are saying oil pump is okay but they are not giving me a definite answer now i am afraid if i replace the bearing and crankshaft there will be a repeat of the same problem.
