Question:
I just bought a koehring 666e trackhoe and as I was walking it out of the pit to a loading area both track motors stopped pulling,I changed filters and got one side pulling again but the other side free wheels,no brake, also swing was very slow to non working from the get go but once in a whileit will catch and go like crazy for a few seconds,has sundstrand 22 pumps and strait axis single speed motors,should I torch it for scrap or is it fixable,affordable?

With the slow swing and intermitant track operation you you might have the pressure relief valve sticking open or the hydraulic regulator is not set right. Ether way, a pressure gage is a handy tool to to have on hand for checking the machine out.

Sounds like an oil starvation problem. Check your res. and suction strainer.
