Any one out there with any factual data or anecdotes about this product? It sells for about half the price of Mobil 1, so I would assume that has significance, Ignoramus in Raleigh

Walmart Super Tech oils are packaged for them by Warren Distributing Co.

Its some oil companay brand like QS, Pennzoil etc. Not Mobil 1 though, they don't allow it to be repackaged nor does Asmoil, Red Line. Source can vary by dates. Somewhere I found a list of MSDS that list the manf and they were as I stated Penz or QS, some other oils can be exxon/mobil but there is not way of knowing if the batch you buy is from what manf. Thats something you wil have to live with if youy want to pay on the cheap.. Those companies don't want it known that you can buy their products cheap in another label, that would screw thier main customers, the oil distributors etc.
