We have several diesel engines in our company. We replace approx. engine oil in every 250 hr. operation. Monthly oil consumption is about 500 lt.s
Can anyone suggest a method to clean and reuse this oil before completely throwing this out. What are the basic tests to be done and what is the permissible level.

Jagath,
If you install Klarol Oil Purifier on every engine, you don't need to change oil after every 250 hours. Only you will have to change its filter after every 250 hours. Same oil will run for more than 2000 hours without changing.Everything suits the costeconomy, the life of engine will also increase. You may contact me on prabhakar@klarol.com or call me at 91-9431177036

No need for doing it! Synthetic motor oil, by-pass filtration, good oil filters (Donaldson Endurance) changed at "double the time", good air filters (Donaldson Endurance) if air quality is disputable and Used Oil Analysis will allow you to use oil much, much longer. UAO results will, without mistake, tell you when it is enough!

Mr.Jagath,

Why don't you try an oil analysis program. If you are participating in an oil analysis program, you can monitor the engine oil as well as engine and accordingly extend such drain out periods. There are some labs in India doing these things.I think I can help you in this regard.

All the physico chemical parameters,Soot and wear metal analysis are important for diesel engines.

The limits depends on the engine manufacturer.

Please give me your Email address.I will put it in the mail.
