I have been invited to invest in a venture involving prolong oil additive. Does anyone have any comments about this product?

Do you have any information to support that it's safe to handle or use in an engine? It is NOT held in high regard over on BITOG.

Here is the link to Bob Is The Oil Guy oil additive forum - http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb...tlist&Board=5&page=1. Do a search for Prolong and you'll get a good idea as to why many are skeptical of this product.

I'd invest elsewhere.

Perhaps perpetual motion skyhooks.

A dose of healthy skepticism.

Unknown effects with other additives.

Articles I've read about the effects of such products in general.

Discussions with knowledgeable and experienced people at conferences.

And lastly, If I couldn't get it to fly at work, why would I put it in my cars and bikes?

I think that I agree with you.

We usually do a tremendous amunt of due diligence before we get involved in a project.

I see that there are still about 30 additives active in the market. The funny thing is that Prolong is not sold anywhere except on the internet.

hat happened to their infomercials and sales at auto parts suppliers like pep boys?

Read the article posted in my signature. If you still believe in additives, please write me with your questions at the email in the article.
