This easily might be the best M/C oil currently available . The FE is incredibly low .
Fuchs esters doing their job at start-up ? I beleive so . This oil was used for aproximately 13 months and 3800 miles in a 2001 Kawasaki ZX-9R . The engine was ran fairly hard every time out but not abused . It also was rode every month of the year . This is some really good engine oil as the nickel that comes from the lifter buckets is extremely low . Iron from the cam lobes and gear box is really low as well . Rod bearing wear was kept in check also and just overall a really nice report thinning only about 1 centistroke . My opinion is this is easily one of the best top 5 motorcycle oils currently available in North America . And look ! This is a motorcycle specific oil that uses moly in the formula ... you know , the friction modifier with the reputation of making clutches slip . Will the rumor ever die ? The type airfilter used on these engines are the best I've seen . Oiled foam . No , not KN style . Engine has 8877 total miles Wear metals Iron 7 Aluminum 16 Copper 9 Lead 2 Tin 1 Nickel 2 Additives Silicone 11 - Barium 0 Moly 158 Calcium 1917 Magnesium 315 Phosphorus 1186 Zinc 1257 Viscosity 14.23 TBN 6.50 Signature : |

I think this oil came from Ron Ayers . It's the newest formula that came out last year . Red in color when poured in , reddish when drained .
I replaced with Synergyn 15w-50 and will recheck next year . This is my Son's bike and already has been ridden 3k miles since change so I expect around 6000 miles or therabouts next go round . PS , I have some excellent Mobil 0w-40 analysis's to show you when I have time . One with 280-300F oil temps while towing over 64 hours with a 3 quart motor . Good motor oil there Signature : |

Hey there 427 .
This seems a fair site where a guy can voice his opinion unlike some other websites on the net where if a guy gets to knowing too much ..... I have not seen any cheerleaders with Pom Poms as of yet either .. He He . Seems a friendly place where money does not get in the way of the facts .... hope to visit again soon . |

Motorbike, I'd like to hear more about your experience with M1 0w-40. I had a bad experience with it and switched back to 5w-40 and another brand of synthetic.

Well,
No wonder it's used in the expensive German turbo cars and is obviously a good choice in certain other applications . It meets Saab's two year gas engine spec and more . A whole lot more If I were an oil salesman with a competing product I'd try to find a way to bash it . But I'd be fooling only myself in the end if the guy"s" I was trying to fool didn't fall off the truck last nite that is |
