I don't know is there owners in USA or Canada who has cars with such type of engine(gasoline direct injection).
Hope yes. Next question. Is there oils made especialy for direct ingection engines or that's nevermind? Thanks. rather no... |

Correct me if I am wrong, GDI is a Mitsubishi patent and if my guess isn't wrong, quite of few of Mitsubishi gassers sold in US should be having that tech. I don't know if Mitsubishi specifies any particular oil for GDI engines.

Yes you right. GDI is MMC tecnology NeoD is Nissan. D4 is Toyota. I know such types of engines requires very quality gasoline and practically not use in Europe. I didn't meet oil called like "for GDI" but i heard there is some difference between traditional ingection and direct one.. An i would .like to know is there difference in lubrication. rather no... |
