Has anyone ever used an engine oil exchange unit? I have customers who would like to perform offsite servicing on projects that have extreme environmental regulations. I believe there was a unit floating around that would attach to a sump valve - extract 99% of engine oil and replenish the system.
Anyone? |

R+D is producing such a system - it´s called PPS-Alpha. It can extract the oil, microfilters it, dehydrates and degases it. Our customers (bigger ones) normally use it the following way. 1. Sampling the oil (for example 100 gal) 1B. Oil analysis (Additives, TBN etc.) If the oil is worth then: 2. Puirifcation with PPS-Alpha Oil exchange intervalls can be extended by more then 50%, without any risk. Regards, Wolfgang |

Its not quite what Im after. More a fluid changing unit that can perform 100% dripless oil changes. One that lets your replace sump plugs with special valves that will allow the pump to click into action in areas where environmental regulations are strict about oil contamination in soil etc...

Would this be for a full flow spin on oil filter? If I understand you correctly then BG an oil company out of Wichita, Kansas makes a system that might work foryou. www.bgprod.com
