Not that I can recall, but is there a particular reason you want to use Quaker State? Also, what grade would you be using? What vehicle, miles, engine, etc?

The only reason I was considering is that I have convenient access to Quaker State synthetic at a good price.

Assuming the price is right and it is at least Group III "synthetic," it would seem a good deal. Check the website for their specs and MSDS may help give some inkling about the base oil makeup.

I have some NAPA synthetic that I bought on sale for $2.69 a quart. That is a good price.
