O'Reilley's auto parts has Synergyn oil and oil treatment on clearance. I've read it has PAO, lots of esters, and lots of ZDDP. Any feedback on the quality of this oil or the oil treatment? Is it in the same class as Mobil 1 EP, Royal Purple, or Amsoil?

Don't know too much about oil but wouldn't go for oil treatment!

If you go to www.trustmymechanic.com/motor-oil-bible.pdf you'll see all kinds of comparisons in all kinds of catagories.

Great oil. Buy it all if on clearance and price is right.
I don't care for oil treatments/thickeners. So skip over the treatments unless you need it to thicken a thin oil. Signature: Check your tire pressure, drive slow, and use less gas. Screw OPEC! |
