Do some manufacturers make their synthetic oils with polyethylene glycol (PEG)? I have heard the term polyglycol, but I am not sure that is a chemical name exactly. What I am hoping to find out is PEG an additive to some synthetic oils or are synthetic oils in some way made from PEG?

Both PEG and PAG are NOT soluble in "oils" used for motor oil the only thing a PEG perhaps the bottle. Other wise both PEG and PAG are used in industrial gear lubes or other industrial product but NOT a PCMO or HDEO.
