Hi, everybody. I am interested in firsthand experience from someone that have tested this product. It has been sold for a very long time now, so it should be someone out there. I see that it is used a lot in Japan(did a search on Google). Anyone?

Can't say I have heard of it before. What is it's country of origin?

I think it is an American product, though I'm not sure.

I have read a bit more about it, and I have found that they have mainly done marketing against the aviation-industry. What is a mystery, is why it has become so big in Japan? I have also heard that many Toyota-dealers in Japan recommend it to their customers.

It is about 98% solvent with the rest being some kind of particles (PTFE?) and an epoxy resin of some sort to stick to the metal. I wouldn't use it if you gave it to me.
The MSDS' and the site has the info, you just have to dig to find it. |

Hi, Tempest.
That's OK, but it still doesn't give any answers to why some airplane-people and the Japanese, have found it to be effective, as well as the approval from FAA in 1979. Does anyone on this board that have any experience with it? |
