You'd be amazed to see the viscosities of some oil additives. This is nothing really special.

But what is that stuff supposed to do? Reduce smoke?? How does it do that? I can't find any usable information on this homepage.

All I'm saying is that compared to a modern fully-formulated engine oil, even of the 20w-50 variety, the viscous nature of the STP Smoke Treatment product is downright scary!
