I have a Tyrone Berry Carriage Unit. I just replaced a faulty radiator with a bone yard special. Even before that though it was running WAY TO HOT. I unfortunalty don't have a guage on there so cant give the exact temp, but its hot. We are going to a pulley system around Christmas, so I can't justify putting too much money into it. I need to cool that thing down in the mean time though. Anyone have any good suggestions on how I can acheive that? I am going though and replacing the countless leaky seals here in the real near future. So I will have it fairly torn apart. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank
Cody

P.S.
Regect shotgun cylinders at all cost Wink

Loggerman,
You should have a pressure relief to the tank for when the pump is running and nothing is being actuated. If that relief is bleeding by it will cause extreme heat that just gets dumped into the tank and never makes it to the cooler. An easy way to check that valve for bleed by is to use a mechanics stethascope and touch its end to the valve. Be careful because if it is bleeding by it is EXTREMELY LOUD, I know this from personal experience. That valve could be bad or improperly adjusted or even clogged.
