Hi, I'm considering new ways to connect an oil lubrication system for bearings etc. At the moment we use welded pipes and flanges but these are time consuming to assemble. We previously used compression fit pipes but these experienced leakage issues. Would flexible hosese with screw fit connectors be a viable option?

Ross You Have not mentioned whether this is a pressure system with return lines or a total loss lube system. There are Many ways to accomplish a good distribution system and welding certain sections of the pipe system would be included. The welding of pipe and flange to the bearing point would not be a good choice from a maintence point of view.
