I have a 1983 Ford CL-25 skid steer loader. I lost some of the hydraulic fluid when the loader tipped backwards. I refilled the resevoir with about 5 quarts of Valvoline R&O 700 hydraulic fluid. After I had poured the fluid in I noticed a sticker next to the filler that was covered with grease, When I cleaned it off it read fill with 10w 30 SE CC motor oil. Now I am worried that the hydraulic fluid is not compatible with the original oil in the system. Is it safe to have the hydraulic fluid in the system with to old lubricant? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
