I want to know if there is a formula for calculating the volume of oil required to apply to a round saw used with guides in an edger application? I have developed a saw guide lubrication system that is controlled by a PLC and will monitor and adjust flow rates of oil and water, all without air being applied to the system. I needed to fine tune the system without applying to high a volume of oil.
