So easy. Just call base oils manufacturers such as ExxonMobil, Shell, bp. Base oil normally contains no additives.

You can also check with Lubrizol Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio They are the best source of the information you want.

Webalc,

Most companies offer a number of grades that are straight mineral, in addition, there are also R&O type of lubricants; which contain a small dosage of Rust and Oxidation inhibitors.

Many total loss systems, speciality products or older mechanical systems use only straight mineral oils.

Most of the older type of spindle oils are straight mineral. The current crop of energy efficient spindle oils are mildly additivated.

The rubber process oils are straight mineral and can be predominently Paraffinics, Aromatic or Napthenic depending on the type of rubber to be processed. Similiarly Heat Transfer oils are also straight mineral, so are some of the quenching and tempering oils

Many of the circulatory type of oils are also most likely to be straight mineral. Almost all the Cylinder oils are straight mineral.

All these products are by-products of lube refineries and are marketed by Lubricant companies as specialites, this permits value-addition (mainly of brand) and allows mark-up of prices.

You can also buy from the refineries themselves, the only problem being that you will need to purchase in kilolitres and in tankers, but believe me prices could be half that of Lube companies.

What is your requirement and in what quantity??
