High ambient temperatures result in high bearing temperatures (180+ degrees F) on the Boiler Feed Pumps using a 32 Turbine Oil. Heat exchangers are clean and have run like this for many years, with some failures over the years. Is anyone using a 46 Turbine Oil in their Boiler Feed Pumps (BJ's of IR's)?
