Question...has anyone successfully used rerefined paper machine oil in their paper machine? What should one be careful of when looking at rerefined oils for industrial applications? Which companies are good sources of rerefined industrial lubricants? What are some of the other negatives of rerefined oils?

the oil MUST be good quality Saftey Kleen and Evergreen are the only USA nmfg that hydrotreat the base stock and would be the only choice.

That said GPII and GPIII oils from Chevron would also be good in fact better In my opinion than Any rerefined oil. Due to better volitility and AO response.
So unless price was low enough I'd use a GPII/GPIII "virgin" base oil.
