The "stuff" you are suggesting seems to be an oil in the ballpark of ISO 100 oils, but is highly flamable, which makes it extremely dangerous to handle.

Not sure if a Castrol product called Metalube 1-911 SF may be something you are looking for as I am not familiar with what you are using it in. But this product is used in both underground and open cut mining on drag lines and hoists, cranes, wire ropes etc and works well. You may need to check with the oil supplier about it's suitability. It has a flash point of 220C or more.

Certified Labs makes a product called CHAINMASTER in the US. it's a synthetic chain lube that will handle up to 550(F) and has excellent water resistance.
