Hello,
I'd like to get your advice concerning High Temperature oil. Actually, I'm looking for a lubrication for a motor gearbox bearing assembly operating at 260 degC (500degF). I'm particularly worried about the wide viscosity range, and the fluidic losses in my motor at ambient temp. As I already pointed Krytox107 for my application, could you propose me some alternative and their pros/cons... Thanks |

Hello nico166,
In the first place, why is your motor gearbox operating at such high temperature? In general, with a operating temperature above 200 degC, you do not have much options but to go for a PFPE based oil. Regards, Kai |

Yes, and you can try the grease thickened with polyurea. |
