I need some help to clarify whether Synthetic Turbine fluids provide better oxidation stability & if it means that we can save oil lost due to oxidation (Top-up Oil) in a Steam Turbine? If yes than is there any way to predict how much can be saved by shifting to Synthetic turbine oil from Mineral based fluid? What is the difference between group III, IV & V Turbine fluids & in which category the Synthetic diester based fluid falls?
