I am not sure about this grade and can't find any information on it anywhere. I know that the Bartran range is a hydraulic oils but I can only get info on Bartran HV 46 etc. and not HVS can anyone clarify what is exactly the difference? or possibly provide me with some link to find out about this grade?

I can not find a link to an HVS designation either. Usually an "S" in the designation would indicate a synthetic basestock.
