Does PIB (polyisobutylene) can be use in Industrial gear oils? What is the best type useing in this application?

yes all PIB the same just basicly diference in viscosoity.

With less Group I base oil production resulting in lower availability of bright stock, PIB is one alternative that gear oil blenders are using to acvieve higher viscosities.
