I'm looking for a replacement for Teresso #43. The application is a high speed lathe gearbox. It is described as a steam turbine oil. I also need a modern replacement for Esso Andok C and Andok m-275 grease. I contacted Exxon/Mobil, their only reply was that these lubricants haven't been made in many years.

Well I have an answer on your Andok C Grease (the call out m275 didn't pan out)Nye lubricants has developed a synthetic replacement for the product. Go to this link
http://www.nyelubricants.com/literature.htm
scroll down to the "Rheolube™ 374 Product Sheet" download the .pdf sheet and compare the products.
Go back to the nye homepage and call their Deleware office for further info and ordering services.
I'l see what I can do on the Terreso.

For your reference on the Andok grease.
ANDOK C is a Grade 4, petroleum-napthene, sodium-soap, dark brown, buttery grease typically used for factory-fill of high-speed ball bearings and for hand-pack replenishment in the field. It was prized for its excellent channeling characteristics, which improve bearing performance by reducing torque and lowering internal bearing temperatures. Like other sodium-soap greases, ANDOK greases are not water resistant, however they still provide rust protection in damp locations because of their ability to absorb water.

On the Teresso, contact your local shell distributor and look at their "Tellus 32" product. or Mobil product "DTE OIL Light". Verify with their tech services the applications are right. It looks good to me but please verify this.

We had used SP-46 for high speed machine lubrication. I think you oil viscocity is 43. you may contact any reputed dealer i.e.. shell/mobile, but before coming to any conclusion have a checkback on oil properties.
