We use Perma Star since one year. It works very well. We have some filled with oil (SO14 to lubricate chains)and others with grease (SF01 to lubricate bearings). They say that we cannot refill them but it is very easy to refill. We compare with Alemite Model and we prefer Perma because PERMA flashes GREEN when it works OK and RED when there's a malfonction. Alemite flashes RED if there's a malfonction and nothing if it works well so you have to "hope" that everything's fine. Yesterday, a guy told me to try the model A.T.S. ELECTRO-LUBE. I forgot... In the past, we have tried spring loaded lubricators or gaz loaded with no success. PERMA is battery operated. ELECTRO-LUBE is also battery operated but they have a 110 volts option. Has I said, I will try it.
