Application is: threading by plastic deformation (no cutting) – titan taps. Material is medium steel, threading hole is (metric) M10 – M12, moment (force) is around 250-300 Nm to 400-500 Nm.

The threading taps is Emuge (see http://www.emuge.com/products.html). Until this testing they used the emulsion from Fuchs.

The phenomenon with our emulsion is that after 500 pieces (until this testing they was able to produce 15.000 – 20.000 pieces (Chlorine free emulsion) the Titan from taps is disappearing, is destroyed, and the tool are damage. Concentration was from 8% to 10% and it is a mineral emulsion. I will try a syntetic product.
My ask is if somebody had the same problem and with what kind of product i will solve this problem?
