Can any body please tell what are the equivalent greases for shell alvania G3

Hi, you may want to look for Alvainia RL3 grease. This is a industrial all purpose grease available from Shell. It appears as though the RL grease is the replacement for the G3 grease. Brett

1. Li/Ca base
2. Penetration at 25 Deg C = 240
3. NLGI - 3 type
4. Operating temp is between -30 to 120 Deg C
5. Drop Point is 180 Deg C

where as Shell Alvania R 3 is a
1. Li base
2. Penetration at 25 Deg C = 220 - 250
3. NLGI - 3 type
4. Operating temp is between -20 to 150 Deg C
5. Drop Point is 185 Deg C

Equivalent grease would be Esso Beacon 3, Mobilux 3, BP Energrease LS 3
