We have mutiple EMGLO compressors providing pressuration for our fire protection system. A replacement compressor (very small unit 1/3 HP 2.9CFM@20-30PSi) came with a sticker stating that the compressor was filled with EMGLO Synthetic Blue oil. We have always used a non-synthetic in this application with good results and I really don't want to stock another vendor supllied lubricatant. Does anyone know what the specs of "Blue" oil is or how I can contact the vendor ?

You can try this link EMGLO and find a EMGLO service station near you. I'm sure they can provide you the information on this oil and tell you wether it's smart to use another oil as an alternative.
