Dear Friends,

please let me know what is the basic difference between Aluminum stearate grease and Lithium complex grease,performance wise out of them which is beeter.

Out of these two grease which one is more suited for off shore drilling application and
why?

Calcium overbased grease would give better rust protection than either a LI or a AL grease and is heavier that water so submerged use it would stay on better.

I think I now have hit the right person on Calcium over based grease
I was wondering if you can educate me on this grease- your field experience in application on places of water, heat, speed and load separately or in combination, like steel Industry rolling mills or casting machines

I do not MFG this I would contact Chevron/Texaco Jody Cruze in customer/distributor servce he can get you in touch with the grease product manger or lube tec that will be helpful also Metalcote company they are both good source of info.
