I am currently installing new rotary unions which have Kluber GHY 443 grease. My problem is the lubrication practices at our plant are very poor. I want to put a speciality grease zert on the rotary unions to prevert anyone but myself from lubricating these parts. Any idea on where I can find a speciality grease zerts that a standard greave gun will not fit?

Do you use button head type or standard grease fittings. These fittings arequite a bit larger than standard grease zerks so they may be a balance issue on couplings. Most people find they are easier (quicker) to grease than standard zerks so you may consider installing them on the bulk of your equipment and saving the standard grease zerks for the specialty items. also button heads come in two sizes allowing you to further differentiate lube types. They are available from Grainger, McMaster-Carr, Kar and directly from Lincoln or Alemite.
