Hello all. I am new to this forum and have been performing searches for alternative EHC fluids such as EcoSafe and Quintolubric. While I have had several hits, I have see no one speak on their experiences with these products. If you have any experience with the above products (good or bad) or know someone who does, I would like to know. Please post a response. Thanks.

He is highly respected in the power generation and has no problem speeking with anyone who wants information about these products. If you would like his contact info or anyone elses please call me @ 704-902-5192. I also know a lot about these products if you need anything.

Thanks for the help 'lubes'. Does anyone else have experiences with these products? I have gathered good information on EcoSafe but I have heard little experiences relating to Quintolubric.

Hi

I have very good experience of Quintolubric fire resistant Hydraulic Fluids.

These are Synthetic Water Free ,hence you can get Longer pump Life, Also due to High Viscosty Index ( 215) You can get excellent performance at High temp area.

This can perform well in diecasting Maching, Hot Rolling Mills, Laddle cars ............etc

Quintolubric is used in Toshiba EHC systems. There are many Toshiba steam turbine units in existence and it should be easy to get operating experience.

Be sure that whatever fluid chemistry you select, it is approved by your OEM.

Also, if properly maintained, Fyrquel will provide optimum performance for the life of the EHC system. It is inexpensive to do so. If you do not properly maintain the fluid, it can create significant problems. Please feel free to contact me for information on maintaining PE/EHC systems. If you understand the modes of degradation and how to correct them, this fluid really can be trouble-free.

Hello

I am looking for some information on performance of POEs from Quintolubric 888-68, Castrol Anvol SWX P 68 or Ecosafe in the Aluminium Smelters.

Does someone have experience in their compatibility ?

We have a lot of experience with Quintolubric 888-68 in hydraulic systems and I can tell you that it's a very good product, keep it clean <17/15/12 and dry <1000ppm and it will last you a long time.
It's FM approved and environmentally friendly.
