I was directed here from the IFPS forum.
I am a student at Ferris State Univ. and a teacher has given me a mission. I am looking for a video or film that shows the variation of an oil layer due to velocity.

Any help would be appreciated

N. Andres

Suggest you try Lubrizol or Infinium, both are leading lube oil additive suppliers with vast knowledge of lubrication.
Prediction of film thickness can be expressed mathematically, pretty complicated affected by viscosity, pressure etc.
