Is it possible to ultrasonically clean a 3um absolute fibreglass filter element. It's the sub 3um particles that I'm interested in.

My opinion, NO.
Ultrasonic cleaning of steel mesh - YES. The fibres in the media will never let go of the particulate easily without damaging the glassfibre. Glassfibres are inherently susceptible to breakage. - it's a glass fibre ! |
