I have been studying the effects of metals and am wondering if an oil filter capable of retaining metal particles would be of benefit .. and commercially viable ..?
Any insights greatly appreciated. |

Hi Tom
Depending upon application oil films are from 0.1 µm and thicker to maybe 100 µm max in a hydrostatic bearing, (Pumped like big end in your car, so what ever you put together has to remove every contaminate larger than the lubrication film application dependant Regards Rob S |
