cut apart any "throw away" oil filter does not matter who mfg.it; cut out some of the cellouse/ paper, cover your lips real tight and try to blow air throw the media.then compare the size of motor oil to air and try to figure out how oil could get "through" the media with enough volume to keep an engine alive?
